Truth About Blair Hornstine Blair's View Blair's Efforts Other Charity Contributions Blair Hornstine’s efforts have been acknowledged by many national organizations and corporations. In September 1999 and September 2000, Blair received national awards from WAL-MART to support her projects. In August 2000, MTV and their charitable organization, DO SOMETHING, awarded Blair’s club a national grant to support her community service in Camden. At the conclusion of her projects, Blair was profiled in College Bound Magazine. Blair was also successful in receiving the Sears and Levi Youth Empowerment Grant for her fall 2000 Make A Difference Day activities. The USA Today newspaper acknowledged Blair with their regional Make A Difference Day Award for outstanding achievement.
